ボタンや筐体に文字を入れるためにインレタを探した。サンハヤトからはもう発売されていないようだ。写真はおそらく20年以上前に購入したもの。
I searched instant lettering to put text on buttons and case. Now it doesn't seemed to be sold by Sunhayato. The following photo is own instant lettering which purchased over 20 years ago.

Labeling

梅雨で塗装の機会がなかなかなかったが、ひとまずサーフェイサーを吹いた。塗装はつや消しの黒にしたいので塗料を買ってこないと。
I had not had a chance to paint case because of the rainy season. Today I sprayed a surfacer on it. I wanna color the case matte black, so it needs to buy a paint.

操作ボタンや液晶を載せたサブ基板が完成したので動作確認。問題なく動作。
I checked functions of the kit after sub PCBs that have operational buttons and LCD was finished to make. The result was OK.

Test

光り物の明るさも問題ない。
The brightness of lamps and back light is also OK.

初期設定をすませてカーチャンクを少し楽しむ。後はケースの塗装や文字入れを行って完成の予定。
I'm enjoying this kit a little after completed initial configuration. Remained tasks are painting case, and labeling.

ケース組み込みのためにサブ基板を作成。写真は操作ボタンと状況表示用のLEDを搭載した基板。LED用の抵抗は後で。
I made a sub PCB for mounting in the case. The photos is the sub PCB that has operation buttons and status LEDs . Resistances for LEDs have not been on it yet.

基板をケースに組み込んでみた。前面の穴あけはまだ完了していない。
I set PCBs in the case. Making holes has not been completed yet.

Battery eliminator for Yaesu HT

注文していたものが中国から到着。価格は送料込みで$8.39。Yaesu FT3D用のバッテリー・エリミネーターで、バッテリーの代わりに装着して外部電源からの電源供給に使用できるもの。
Battery eliminator for Yaesu FT3D has been arrived from China. The price is $8.39 including shipping fee. This device can supply power from external power source instead of a battery.

厚みはSBR-14LIと同じで少し出っ張る。このデバイスはSBR-14LIの中身をくりぬいて作られたものだろうか。
The thickness is the same as SBR-14LI battery. I wonder that this device is made by taking out battery cells of SBR-14LI.

シガー・プラグに電源(DC 12V)を接続すると8V程度の電圧だった。降圧回路が入っているのかもしれない。
When the power (DC 12V) is supplied from the cigar plug, the voltage is about DC 8V. It may have step-down circuit.
